About Us

Hello, I am Sandra – a passionate wildlife photographer originally from Gilching, Bavaria. Today, I live with my husband Matthias in the beautiful Black Forest – which has become not only our home but also my personal paradise of nature.

Animals have fascinated me my entire life. Even as a child, I preferred being outdoors with my binoculars, animal books, and a sense of adventure. That love for nature remains – only today, my camera has replaced the encyclopedias.

Together with Matthias, photography has become a true team project. While I focus on capturing the perfect shot, he takes care of the rest: spotting animals, navigating off-road tracks, and supporting me in every way possible.

In his free time, Matthias exchanges his suit and law books for binoculars and outdoor gear. We complement each other perfectly – in life and in the wilderness.

Our great passion is observing animals in their natural habitat – whether in the Black Forest or on safari in Africa, Asia, or Central America. We love capturing authentic, unposed moments full of emotion.

Sharing my passion is even more fulfilling than taking the photos. A few years ago, I discovered my love for photo workshops and now regularly offer courses in the Black Forest. It's not just about technique, but patience, respect, and sensitivity for nature's moments. The camera is merely the tool – the heart creates the image.

Projects like the Belize Zoo, a sanctuary for injured or orphaned wildlife, are especially close to our hearts. Such places show how vital real nature conservation is. Our national parks in Germany and around the world do great work and deserve attention. Only by protecting nature can we continue to experience it.
